METHODOLOGY

Utilis Energy follows a 6 stage process for all client consulting projects:

1) Listening to the Client

Clients sometimes tell us of their negative experiences with external consultants who seem intent on delivering a project before they've even taken the time to understand their client's needs and objectives.

Utilis Energy believes that success can only be achieved through knowledge and understanding of a client's requirements.

Where others talk, we listen.

2) Developing a Proposal

Once we are fully aware of a client's stated aims and objectives, we work to develop a proposal that meets the  requirements specific to each engagement.

Each project is unique and we do not adopt a 'cookie-cutter' approach towards any of our consulting assignments.

Each proposal is designed to:

  • Clarify objectives
  • Outline broad issues
  • Detail areas of specific interest
  • Define the scope of Utilis Energy's involvement
  • Suggest a timeline for project completion
  • Outline professional fees

3) Proposal Review

Utilis Energy takes the client though the proposal in order to confirm that:

  • All relevant issues are being addressed
  • Any revisions in scope or content are made prior to the commencement of the research stage

4) Keeping the Client Informed

Maintaining focus throughout the research and analysis phase of a project is critical.

New issues that might have a bearing on the project will often arise. Utilis Energy appropriately addresses each of these new issues without losing sight of the clients stated aims.

Utilis Energy offers:

  • Regular client updates throughout the research phase
  • The opportunity to adjust the scope of a project in line with initial findings
  • Dedicated analyst and project manager contact & support

5) Delivery and Presentation

Depending on the specific requirements of each client, Utilis Energy offers a range of final delivery options:

  • Report formatted written study (paper)
  • Report formatted written study (electronic)
  • In person study presentation

Or any combination that meets client requirements.

6) Follow-up

Utilis Energy stands by its research, analysis and recommendations. We always make ourselves available for:

  • Further research
  • Ad hoc questions
  • Advice & guidance
